CAPE AGULHAS
Cape Agulhas is the southern-most tip of Africa and you can stand here and feel a whole continient before you. This is also where the two oceans meet, and the seas here are littered with shipwrecks, the area infamous for it mammoth rogue waves, supposedly up to 100ft. The town itself is a mild place. Enjoy the fantastic fresh fish on offer. The historic lighthouse, with it's neat little museum, is well worth a visit, though climbing to the top is not recommended for those afraid of heights, or of steep ladders. |
