Although placed between Kalk Bay and Simon's Town, the vibe here is quite different. It's probably not because Fish Hoek is a 'dry' town - ie no liquor is sold here. (A historical law passed for sailor safety - there's a naval base round the corner.)
Fish Hoek has a great beach that is generally a safe place to swim, and the bay is always visited by whales in the spring time.
