Paarl is the spiritual home of the Afrikaans language - high on the hill is a monument to the 'Taal'. It's a stunning experience in architecture and well worth a visit.
Paarl is a quaint town, famous for it's schools, and it boasts some beautiful historical houses, a pretty main street, wine farms literally in the town, and nice restaurants and coffeshops too. Sorry, this video really doesn't do it justice. It will be updated.
